The first ever graduates of the Executive MBA in Policing management programme have completed the course. 14 people have completed the training programme, which is intended for the middle and senior management of police units.
"During the training programme, we have shared tremendously valuable experiences and a wide range of viewpoints, through which we have gained a new understanding of the police as a whole," says Director Kimmo Himberg , who is in charge of the programme.
The EMBA in Policing programme is worth 80 credit points. The studies cover issues such as strategic management, international cooperation and cooperation between stakeholders, the EU's law enforcement and security policy, and financial and HR management.
The two-year training programme was implemented jointly by the Police University College and the Centre for Professional Development, Edutech, at Tampere University of Technology.
