The international Northern Police Research Webinar presents recent research in the field of policing for researchers, practitioners and other interested parties in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Welcome to discuss about the measures against organised crime in Nordic countries. In the research webinar we present the results of the project “Tackling organised crime: Viewpoints of Nordic policies and practices (TOC24)”. We have invited experts from Denmark, Sweden and Finland to discuss about the following topics:
- What are the most promising practices to tackle organised crime?
- What kind of strategies and cooperation is needed?
- How can we prevent young people from joining criminal gangs?
- What can we learn from Danish and Swedish policies and practices?

Useful information
The page For visitors includes information on for example how to arrive to the campus, and on parking. When visiting us at the Police University College, please check in first at the lobby of the main building. Remember to bring identification, such as an ID card or passport, as your identity will be verified when you check in. Please prepare for a security check as well.

Taking pictures on campus
The Police University College campus is a closed area where restrictions apply to taking of pictures and videos.
You can take a selfie in a seminar, but you may not take pictures or videos of for example police students or Polamk staff in the corridors or the inner courtyard. The contact person for your visit can provide further information on the rules that apply to taking pictures.
