The library

The Police University College Library’s collections focus on policing, leadership and management, jurisprudence, criminology, and other social and behavioral sciences.

We primarily serve police students and police staff. Other users can order material through their local library for interlibrary loan. In some cases, we can also arrange library patronage.

Etsivä Finna is a portal for publications that focus on policing. You can search for information related to internal security from several databases at the same time.

Our customer service is open

  • Mon–Thu from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Fri and days before public holidays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Students and personnel have access to the library with access key on weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
