Inter-police and social cooperation against hate crime (CISDO)
The CISDO project strengthens the ability of the Spanish police to identify and prevent hate crime and to respond to hate crime together with non-governmental organizations and particularly vulnerable groups. A further aim is to increase trust between the victims and the police and police knowledge of the conditions and special characteristics of hate crime victims. The aim is to prevent the underreporting of hate crimes.
The project is based on the Spanish government’s action plan on hate crime and EU Anti-racism Action Plan (2020–2025).
