Cyber competence 2020
The project develops and increases the provision of cyber training and education at the Police University College, to enable the launch of a specialist education study module in the prevention of cybercrime. The purpose is to improve the authorities’ knowledge of and skills in the prevention of cybercrime.
Research results in the cyber field will be utilised in the preparation of the provision of training. The education and training prepared in the project is targeted at civil servants employed by the key public authorities engaged in the prevention of cybercrime.
Timescale: March 2017–February 2020

Funding: The Internal Security Fund of the European Union, the instrument for police cooperation, preventing and combating crime and crisis management (ISF-P). The total budget of the project is slightly over EUR 600,000.
