European Union Police and Civilian Services Training (EUPCST)
The EUPCST project will improve the preparedness of law enforcement agencies and civilian actors for participation in the civilian crisis management operations of the EU, the UN, the African Union and other international organizations.
During the project, members of the consortium will organize training, exercises and conferences on key topics of civilian crisis management. In addition to the Police University College, Finnish participants in the project include CMC Finland.
Timescale: March 2019 – March 2022
Project partners: The project involves a total of 23 police, gendarmerie and civilian organizations from Europe. The coordinator is the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (the Netherlands).
Funding: European Commission and member organizations. The total budget is EUR 6.25 million.
