Situation awareness of the police

The purpose of this doctoral dissertation is to model and empirically research situation awareness in various work situations of the police, particularly in field work. Situation awareness refers to the perception of environmental elements, the comprehension of their meaning, and the projection of their future status. Situation awareness has become an established part of decision making and performance development research. The results of the study can be used to develop police education in a direction that increases the occupational safety of police officers and the security of citizens.
