Building clarity and preventing bias in digital forensic examination, interorganizational communication and interaction (CLARUS)
The CLARUS project studies how, in the processing of digital evidence, organizational structures and processes, and information exchange between various professionals, may contribute to errors and delusions. The project also produces tools and uniform terminology to improve the quality of digital forensic examination.
Timescale: November 2023 – October 2026
Project partners: University of Dundee (academic coordinator), KEMEA (administrative coordinator) and 10 other organizations in Europe.
Funding: EU Horizon Europe programme. The total budget is approximately EUR 2.2 million, of which the Police University College’s share is EUR 476,625.
