The Police University College (Polamk) is Finland's only higher education institution specializing in police research. We engage in applied research and development, serving the planning and development of policing and internal security. The data produced is also used for education at the Police University College.

The research, innovation and development activities (RDI) newsletter 1/2023 of the Police University College has been published.

The newsletter focuses on what makes the prevention of organized crime challenging for the authorities, how our theses reflect the diversity of police work and students’ backgrounds, and the many ways in which we promote open science and research. A further topic is the Police University College’s quality system audit, due in the autumn.
