Specialisation studies for cybercrime prevention (Kyber-EOP)
The project develops education in the cyber field to improve the authorities’ knowledge of and skills in the prevention of cybercrime. The aim is to develop and increase the offering of education in the cyber field at the Police University College and to launch a specialisation study module focusing on cybercrime prevention in the autumn term 2022. Research results in the cyber field will be utilised in the preparation of the provision of education in collaboration with international stakeholders.
The offering of education prepared in the project is targeted at civil servants employed by the key public authorities engaged in the prevention of cybercrime.
Timescale: February 2021 – December 2022
Funding: The Internal Security Fund of the European Union, the instrument for police cooperation, preventing and combating crime and crisis management (ISF-P). The total budget of the project is approximately EUR 110,000.
