Police students and personnel can get a Police University College Library card by visiting the library. Police personnel can also register as a customer remotely by contacting the Library.
If you are not a member of the police but require Police University College Library services, you can contact us and explain what you require. Based on the information you give us, we will let you know if the items you need can be made available through an interlibrary loan via your local library or if you can register as a Library customer.
In order to help our customers in the best possible way and without errors, we require and store the following personal data in our library system:
First names and last name
Personal ID (non-police-administration customers)
Date of birth (police administration customers)
Home address (non-police-administration customers)
Work address (police administration customers)
E-mail address
The customer data and personal data of Police University College students is stored in our system for the duration of their degree studies. The personal data of other customers is stored for three years after their last loan interaction. We do not release personal data to other systems.
You may request for your personal data to be deleted from the system immediately if you do not have any current loans from our Library. If you wish to request the deletion of your personal data, please contact the Library.
