Korsstudier
Polisyrkeshögskolan är med i Tammerfors högskolors korsstudier. Närvarande examens- och utbytesstuderande vid Tammerfors universitet, Tammerfors yrkeshögskola och Polamk kan avlägga studier vid en annan högskola i Tammerfors.
Korsstudier för Polamks studerande
Polamks examensstuderande kan gå kurser vid Tammerfors universitet och Tammerfors yrkeshögskola som en del av de fritt valbara studierna. Även Polamks utbytesstuderande har möjlighet att gå kurser via korsstudier.
Anvisningar för studerande vid Polamk
- Bekanta dig med utbudet och planera vad du vill studera.
- Anmäl dina planerade studier till Polamk med webblanketten.
- Sök till studierna enligt anvisningarna. Anmäl dig till genomförandet av studierna i målhögskolans system.
- Genomför studierna vid målhögskolan.
- Studierna överförs automatiskt till Polamks studieprestationsregister.

Korsstudier som erbjuds vid Polamk
Examens- och utbytesstuderande vid Tammerfors universitet och Tammerfors yrkeshögskola kan avlägga sådana kurser vid Polisyrkeshögskolan som vi erbjuder Erasmus-utbytesstuderande som kommer till Polamk. Studierna är på engelska.

Ristiinopiskelu Finnish Way sv
The Finnish Way of Policing 3 ECTS
Learning outcomes: After completing the course, the student will
- be familiar with the key steps in the historical development of Finnish policing.
- understand the essentials of police work and education in Finland.
- be aware of the main legislative and ethical principles of the Finnish police.
- be able to compare policing practices in Finland with those in her/his own country.
Subject matter: In Finland, public confidence in the police is strong. According to polls, 95% of the population trust the police. What kind of development led to this level and what does it take to maintain the high confidence figures? Why is it important for the police to enjoy high confidence levels? During the course, students will gain an insight of the historical developments, operational principles, strategies, and ethics of the police in Finland. The students will also have an opportunity to make comparisons between Finnish police education and work and those in other countries.
Required work:

- Reading literature
- Preparing 1–2 learning assignments
- Keeping a learning diary

Current Themes in Police Research 3 ECTS
Learning outcomes: After completing the course the student is able to
- understand the issues and significance of chosen current themes in police research and relate them to their own field or background.
- generate and compare information related to the themes covered in the course.
- present ideas and relevant information coherently in written assignments.
Subject matter: Lecture series on chosen topics, presented by Police University College researchers
Required work: Learning assignments and final project

Cop Culture: The Occupational Culture of the Police 1 ECTS
Learning outcomes: After completing this course, the student is able to describe the features of police culture and its impact on police work.

Learning outcomes: After completing this course, the student is able to
- explain central concepts of psychological wellbeing.
- understand aspects of occupational wellbeing in police work.
- understand strategies related to mental wellbeing at work.

- Central concepts of psychological wellbeing
- Developing psychological strategies related to mental wellbeing at work
- Occupational wellbeing in police work

Anmäl dig i korsstudietjänsten
Ansök om studierätt till önskad kurs i Tammerfors högskolesamfunds tjänst för korsstudier på adressen ristiinopiskelu.tuni.fi. När du får studierätt blir du samtidigt anmäld till kursen, det vill säga ingen separat anmälan behövs. Anmälningstiden hittar du i informationen om studieperioden.
Antalet studerande på kurserna kan vara begränsat och Polamks egna examens- och utbytesstuderande har förtur vid anmälan. Man har dock alltid reserverat platser för korsstuderande på dessa kurser. Om du har anmält dig till kursen men inte tänker genomföra studierna, avboka din anmälan så att din plats blir ledig för följande studerande.

Vi meddelar dig om du fått plats på kursen via e-post.
När du har antagits som studerande till kursen får du behörighet att logga in som gästanvändare till Polamks Moodle och anvisningar om hur du loggar in på studieperiodens Moodle-område. I Moodle får du mer information om studierna och hur du genomför dem. För onlinestudier använder vi Teams-plattformen.
När du har slutfört kursens studier bedömer din lärare dina prestationer och antecknar ditt vitsord i Polamks studieregister. Din prestation överförs automatiskt till din högskolas register.
Vi samlar in respons från de studerande om studierna och utnyttjar responsen i utvecklingen av studieperioderna.
